This year’s theme is a new collection of “Folkhemmet’s leisure boats” which Sjöhistoriska started in 2023. “Mickes Båt”, known from TV, is also displayed in collaboration with Heleneborg’s boat club. Everything for the lake is the fair that in March every year inaugurates the boating season. With nearly 60,000 visitors,
it is Sweden’s most popular boat fair.

At the fair, there is everything that can be needed for both visitors and exhibitors. Everything from the avid sailor to the adventurous kayak fan can be inspired and buy the latest products in their area of ​​interest.

Allt För Sjön is the fair that in March every year inaugurates the boating season. For a full 10 days, visitors have historically had the opportunity to meet experts, squeeze and feel the newest products in the industry and plan for upcoming and future seasons at sea and at sea.

In 1903, the Automobile and Motorboat Exhibition was held in the Old Sports Park (today the Stadium) and in the water at Djurgårdsbron in Stockholm. The exhibition is considered the world’s first boat exhibition. The exhibition then took place at Djurgårdsbron again in 1905 and 1907 and attracted visitors from all over the world.

After the exhibition, as a result of the First World War, was dormant, the KMK – Royal Motor Boat Club decided to once again take hold of the exhibition to try to increase interest in motor boats as pleasure boats. The exhibition was moved to Saltsjöbaden in May 1922 and is considered the first industry exhibition with everything for the lake.

The exhibition was very successful and it was decided to hold it once more, but this time in Liljevalch’s Art Gallery on Djurgården in 1929.

The name Allt För Sjön was coined in the early 1930s and has been housed in the premises of the Stockholm Fair since the early 70s. The fair has become an obvious meeting place for boat and archipelago fans of all ages and which now 100 years later glides on with full sail.
